Job Overview

Our retail client is looking for a Sr. Media Manager with 8+ years of experience in media, with a focus on digital channels (paid social, digital video, email, search). The role partners with brand marketing and IAT to develop media strategies and partnerships that amplify the brand platform. It serves as a key liaison with the paid media agency and shares plans & learnings with domestic and global partners.

Responsibilities
  • Understands brand strategy and effectively partners with brand marketing and IAT to develop media strategies and partnerships that align with and amplify the brand platform.
  • Serves as key day‑to‑day liaison with the paid media agency.
  • Shares and collaborates with domestic and global partners on plans & learnings.
  • Manages investment and channel strategy for multiple media touchpoints, including but not limited to video, audio, social media, mobile, online video, search, and display.
  • Leads development of a holistic media strategy inclusive of channel and partner level plans, audience strategy, and a measurement plan.
  • Keeps abreast of the evolving media landscape and technology tools, providing recommendations on required solutions.
  • Meets with existing and prospective media vendors to evaluate future media opportunities.
  • Oversees the holistic budget to be executed by the team.
  • Shares integrated media plans with key stakeholders.
  • Manages upfront investment, paid partnerships, and key vendor relationships.
  • Oversees a holistic digital strategy driving in‑store sales.
  • Oversees grand openings, local, and multi‑cultural plans.
  • Partners with consumer insights and agency partners to execute cross‑channel measurement studies.
  • Represents paid media strategy for annual and ad hoc planning processes.
  • Continuously monitors campaigns & provides optimizations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in media.
  • Experience across media channels, with a strong emphasis on digital channels (paid social, digital video, email, search).
  • Strong experience optimizing media channels and establishing testing approaches and analytics experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication on all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Experience working with outside agencies and vendors.
  • Proven experience participating in cross‑functional teams and influencing great outcomes across a matrix organization with evolving requirements.
  • Superior project management skills with an ability to interact with and motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical experience and proven critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of retail business a plus.
