Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally charged environment.

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and respond to potential complications.
• Administer medications and assist with epidurals or other pain management procedures.
• Support physicians and obstetricians during delivery, including emergency procedures such as C-sections.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpreting electronic fetal heart rate tracings.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Bilingual skills are a plus

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
• Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) – Preferred
