Field-based Territory Role covering New York & New England (NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, ME). Minimum 4 days per week in the field, approx. 50 overnight stays annually, and must visit NYC every 3-4 weeks.
The Sales Account Specialist for the Royal Canin PRO division is responsible for driving sales and quality recommendations with partners within a specific geographical region. They manage day‑to‑day relationships with key partners, recruit new partners into Royal Canin and Eukanuba programs, and collaborate across business units to achieve growth.
What are we looking for?- College degree preferred.
- 2+ years B2B sales experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge or interest in the pet professional/nutrition industry.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.
- Driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Travel up to 50% overnight; occasional weekend events.
- Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.
- Conduct 85% in‑person sales calls.
- Use Salesforce to manage partners and customer data.
- Forecast and build territory sales plan; deliver on annual sales.
- Analyze sales data and develop strategy for growth.
- Attend relevant events within your territory.
- Educate partners on Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutrition programs.
- Recommend products and build feeding guidelines/budgets.
- Drive partner recommendations.
- Recruit and source new partners.
- Collaborate with PSRO and Vet colleagues for PRO business.
- Achieve profitable sales growth with strong selling skills.
- Maintain relationships with key PRO customers; identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with team and other associates for insights.
- Attend regional company meetings and events as required.
- Complete weekly activity, expense, and ad‑hoc reporting.

Base pay range: USD 68,692.00 – USD 94,453.00. Total compensation includes variable pay, medical and dental benefits, 401k, and paid time off.
