Title: Shift Lead Officer

Location: Framingham, MA

Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday, 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

• Base pay: $23.00 /hr (face‑value pay $23.69 /hr)

• Provide leadership to Security Officers on shift, ensuring post orders and operational standards are met.
• Monitor security cameras and patrol premises to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Participate in SOC (Security Operations Center) duties; possess intermediate‑to‑advanced computer skills.
• Enforce access policies, verify identification, issue visitor passes, and control entry to restricted areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, medical situations, or criminal activity; notify authorities as needed.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols to secure entrances, perimeters, and parking areas.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism.
• Inspect premises for safety concerns or fire risks.
• De‑escalate minor disturbances and maintain calm and order.
• Coach and mentor new staff, review post orders, and assist with training.
• Help ensure adequate shift coverage, communicate staffing needs, and support performance management.
• Meet with client representatives to confirm expectations and service levels.
• Assist with submitting payroll information, documentation, and maintaining logs.

• Excellent observational, leadership, and de‑escalation skills; remain composed under pressure.
• Strong communicator with ability to direct teams, interact with clients, and prepare documentation.
• Proficient computer skills; ability to learn SOC systems quickly.
• Strong customer‑service orientation; professional at all organizational levels.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of multitasking in high‑pressure situations.
• Knowledge of security operations, safety procedures, and supervisory practices.
• Willingness to drive a client vehicle if required.
• Capable of performing extensive walking tours.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively.
• Reliable transportation and communication.
• Meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Pass background check, drug screening, and all site‑specific requirements.
• Prior security or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
