About

The Role

As a CBRE HVAC Technician
, you will play a vital role in maintaining the mechanical and electrical equipment that powers commercial HVAC systems across a large pharmaceutical facility. Your work ensures optimal performance, safety, and comfort for all building occupants. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Join the CBRE team in providing facilities excellence at a large, 17‑building life science facility with free parking and exceptional on‑site dining.

What

You'll Do
  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • EPA Universal Certificate.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HVAC Tech position is $36.00 per hour and the maximum salary is $53.00 per hour. Compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
