Located in our Frankfort, IL facility and reporting to the Controls District Department Manager you will be responsible for designing automatic climate control systems utilizing the latest technology from Honeywell Controls, Johnson Controls and Carrier Controls and our custom template (among others).
Responsibilities- Review plans and specifications.
- Engineer the design build and plan/specification for jobs.
- Program, graphic design, and integration of Automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing systems, assist in the determination of control/mechanical issues.
- Assist the Controls division in development and offering of additional building services including but not limited to categories such as commissioning, retro-commissioning, building condition assessments, surveillance, and access control.
- Assist with the development/adjustment processes and quality control measures.
- Provide R&D necessary to ensure offerings are current with available technology, industry trends and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with and provide support to coworkers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- 3+ years of controls experience in HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Visio, Excel, and Word.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
