What you will do in this role
As a Dietary Aide, you play an important role in caring for our patients. For most, a meal is more than just food — it’s a moment of comfort and connection during a challenging time. Your kindness and attention help bring smiles and strength, making a real difference every day.
- Serve meals with care and encouragement
- Clear and clean tables, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining space
- Assist with dishwashing and support the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
- Work closely with your team to ensure every patient receives the right meal, on time, with a friendly touch

Dietary Aide:
Officially we title this job a Dietary Aide, but in other centers it may be called a Restaurant Server, or a Dishwasher.
What we need from you:
- Serv Safe Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
- Some prior food service experience – specifically in a medical facility or commercial/central kitchen is preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer-based documentation systems
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to regularly push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical and background check

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
