Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr.

Join Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare as an In-Home Veterinarian serving patients in Joliet, Kankakee, and surrounding areas.

We provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care, empowering families and veterinarians to deliver compassionate end‑of‑life support at home.

• Provide in‑home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.
• Guide families in making end‑of‑life decisions.
• Build relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their care.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• 1+ year experience as a practicing veterinarian.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. unassisted and up to 100 lb. assisted.
• Physical stamina for walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, standing, and reaching.
• Comfortable with prolonged driving periods.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for medical procedures.
