Base pay range

$18.25/hr – $19.32/hr

As a Famous Footwear Sales Lead, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. You create a welcoming environment and in-store culture where customers say “I’ll take it” and are loyal to the store, our brands, and our company.

• Ace Retail Operations – know the ins-and-outs of your store, from pricing to inventory, nothing gets past your keen eye. Manage opening/closing, keep it clean, organised, and make styles easily shoppable.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficient knowledge of general retail practices.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience.
• Experience motivating a team to achieve goals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate direction set by the store manager.
• Mentoring and training Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Flexible schedule availability including holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

• Lift up to 40 lbs from floor to shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, repetitive lifting.
• Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Knowledgeable in general retail practices.
• Team player with energy and enthusiasm.
• Manage multiple tasks with positive attitude and communicate plans.
• Mentor and train associates in selling and operational processes.
• Work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours.
