Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety in our facility. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems, electrical, and plumbing with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand system operations and repair requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs completed, and equipment status.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate activities and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
