Service Tech HVAC Inc is looking for a motivated Service Technician to support our field operations throughout the Chicagoland area. This full‑time position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, plus hands‑on experience in residential installs. Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and light refrigeration systems across commercial and residential properties.

Perform diagnostics and routine troubleshooting with support from senior technicians.

Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure basic system performance and compliance.

Communicate with clients and team members professionally to deliver responsive, customer‑focused service.

Maintain accurate service logs, materials used, and time entries.

Adhere to all safety standards and operational procedures on every job.

5 years of experience in HVAC service or installation, with a mix of residential and light commercial work preferred.

Familiarity with commercial refrigeration systems (walk‑ins, reach‑ins, etc.) is preferred but not required.

EPA Universal Certification (Required).

High School Diploma or GED (Required).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and take on new assignments.

Comfortable lifting equipment and working in varying environments and conditions.

Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Full‑Time

Monday – Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work during busy periods

Service territory includes the entire Chicagoland area – daily travel to local job sites
