Logistics Associate
LocationFrankfort, IL
DescriptionLogistics Associates process shipment invoices, freight invoices, and sales confirmations. They are responsible for setting up new shipments and tracking shipments from overseas to the point of delivery. They communicate with customers and vendors by email or phone and maintain data in Elite to provide updates to other departments. The department develops and maintains good working relationships with other departments, brokers, freight carriers, customers, and overseas agents and vendors.
Duties- Import Shipping:
- Process invoices and confirmations
- Data entry
- Shipment tracking
- Run shipping reports and verify appropriate orders are consolidated
- Verify shipment bookings and data
- Help prepare and process documents involved in customs clearance
- Communicate with vendors by email
- Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and truckers to ensure timely delivery
- Shipment Receiving:
- Prepare documents for warehouse check‑in
- Coordinate the delivery of import shipments with warehouse staff
- Perform quality checks on new incoming shipments
- Communicate with vendors to resolve over, short, or damaged items
- Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Outlook and good math skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor are a must.
Independent and organized work style: can effectively manage time and prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks without close supervision, and consistently meet deadlines.

Work both in the office and frequently in the warehouse in non–climate-controlled conditions.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period, stand, walk, and occasionally lift boxes during quality control inspections.
Compensation and BenefitsHourly position with normal working hours from 8 am to 5 pm with a 1‑hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Overtime required during peak seasons. Salary $20–$24 per hour and a strong benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday pay, wellness paid time off, vacation packages, and a 401(k) with company match.
