The Floor Lead is responsible for guiding and directing employees on the warehouse floor.
Duties
Lead the consolidation areas of the warehouse.Check future orders that were picked by the order pickers.Ensure customer feeder pallets are validated and correct.Assign full feeder pallets to consolidation team members to be wrapped.Give direction to team as instructed by supervisors or managers.Provide training to new employees as described in the training packet.Lead a second shift (2p
-10:30pm) as needed based on Company demands.Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, and safety requirements.Assist in all areas of the warehouse, cross-train in receiving and unload containers as needed.Complete other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience with leading a team.Can give constructive or positive feedback to employees.Can take constructive or positive feedback from your supervisor.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills.Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and focused on accuracy.Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents accurately.Ability to work flexible schedule and/or overtime during standard workdays and weekends.Creative thinker, team player, and ability to follow instructions.Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations without becoming overwhelmed.Working Conditions
This position works in a warehouse setting. Temperature will vary in the warehouse. Some warehouse equipment such as lifts, box cutters, reach trucks, etc. may be used.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand long hours, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds using two-man assist.
