Warehouse Receiving Associate

This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

• Unload and sort incoming containers.
• Open and prepare inbound products for QA inspection.
• Correctly select customer orders from the receiving dock using RF technology.
• Pull stock from the receiving dock ensuring correct items and counts using RF technology.
• Consolidate inbound customer orders to existing orders awaiting ship date.
• Assist in counting physical inventories.
• Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents accurately.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime during standard workdays and weekends.
• Creative thinker, team player, and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations without becoming overwhelmed.

This position works in a warehouse setting. Temperature will vary. Some warehouse equipment such as lifts, box cutters, and reach trucks may be used.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand long hours, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds using two-man assist.

Position type/expected hours of work: M-F 40 hours a week, with overtime as required, including Saturdays during peak season.
