Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Base pay range: $37.00/hr - $41.00/hr
Shape what keeps our lines moving—picture your day starting with a quick huddle, then jumping into a plant-wide mix of diagnostics, precision repairs, and preventive care. One hour you’re tracing a fault on a 480V three‑phase motor, the next you’re dialing in a PLC issue that’s taken a filler offline. By afternoon, you could be machining a part on a lathe or laying a clean bead with an arc or Heliarc® welder to get a critical conveyor back in service.
Whatyou’ll take on
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and both centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
- Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems; interpret schematics and use test equipment (volt‑ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope).
- Apply strong PLC knowledge to resolve faults, support program changes, and keep automation stable.
- Execute preventive maintenance and manage work orders through our CMMS.
- Operate lathes and mills; perform repair and fabrication using arc and Heliarc® welding.
- Demonstrate comfort with high‑voltage wiring (480V 3‑phase motors) and true multi‑craft maintenance.
- Respond urgently to maintenance calls; collaborate to complete in‑progress repairs and restore equipment reliability.
- Inspect assets, create repair lists, and prioritize short‑ and long‑term actions for maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Coach entry‑level mechanics through challenging diagnostics and fixes.
- Full‑time role with hours that vary by location and daily need.
- Large, loud manufacturing setting; temperature and humidity shift with the seasons.
