• Schedule: Rotational coverage with morning, mid, and night shifts

• Call: No call responsibilities
• Orientation: Two-day shadowing and orientation
• Patient Volume: Approximately 89 patients per day
• Emergency Department Acuity: Broad range of standard emergency cases with normal acuity
• Staffing: Typically 1–2 emergency medicine physicians plus advanced practice providers per shift

• Eligible to practice as a physician in Kentucky
• Emergency medicine experience; new graduates may be considered
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Current ATLS certification, or documented completion when applicable
• Ability to perform standard emergency department procedures
• Case logs may be required during the credentialing process
• Ability to complete applicable credentialing and privileging requirements

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
• Provide on-site emergency medicine coverage during assigned rotational shifts
• Perform standard emergency department procedures within the physician’s scope of practice
• Collaborate with nursing staff and advanced practice providers to deliver timely, high-quality patient care
• Manage routine emergency cases in a non-trauma-center setting
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and coordinate outpatient follow-up when appropriate
• Participate in orientation, case review, and required credentialing activities
