Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote‑first team working to make enterprise‑grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in‑house and back it with a 24/7 human‑led Security Operations Center (SOC).
As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 5M endpoints and 16M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.

What You’ll Do:
You will lead the financial perspective behind the decisions that shape a high‑growth business. As a key partner to the CFO and the Executive Team, you will own near‑ and long‑term strategic planning, turn the drivers of growth, efficiency, and cash into clear recommendations, and help shape the company's financial narrative. You bring the rigor of a strong analyst, the clarity of a storyteller, and the judgment to know when a sharper answer will change the outcome and when it will only slow the team down.

Responsibilities:
- Own strategic financial planning both near and long term. Identify the drivers of growth, efficiency, and cash, and turn them into recommendations the Executive Team can act upon.
- Serve as a key voice to the Executive Team. Shape the company's financial narrative across reporting, investor relations, and fundraising, and act as a close partner to the CFO.
- Partner with GTM, Product, and functional leaders to turn data into insights non‑finance leaders understand and act on, and to challenge them with evidence when needed.
- Lead scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment cases for major decisions. Apply the right depth to each: go deep when precision changes the answer and move fast when it doesn't.
- Build and scale the FP&A team and operating model, including talent development, succession readiness, governance, and controls. Keep what works and redesign what doesn't.
- Redesign forecasting, planning, variance, and reporting workflows with AI, with controls that validate outputs and protect confidential data.
- Oversee sales compensation administration so incentive plans align with company goals and are executed accurately.
What You Bring To The Team:
- 15+ years of progressive FP&A or Strategic Finance leadership in high‑growth SaaS, including building and scaling multi‑level teams.
- Analytical storyteller: a track record of turning complex financials into a clear narrative for executives, boards, and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Trusted influencer: you build relationships across the organization, give candid input, and challenge senior leaders with evidence and care.
- Talent builder: you develop leaders, not just analysts, and have built engaged, high‑performing teams.
- Sound judgment in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments, with a bias for finding…
