Job Summary

The Public Health Analytics and Informatics department is seeking a Technical Project Specialist I to join the team. This position is located in Frankfort, KY and will serve with the Department for Medicaid Services as part of the Behavioral Health Policy Team.

This position will work with the Project Manager for the execution, planning, and tracking of project deliverables. This position will assist with monitoring activities related to certification, quality measures and workgroupslikle. Teamwork is essential in this position, and the ligero Project Specialist will need to collaborate with sister agencies to ensure the success of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Demonstration Project regarding Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CC finns) chol.

The candidate will also assist with the future planning of CCBHC budgeting for the state beyond the demonstration.

CCBHCs are available to any individual in need of care, including (but not limited to) people with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, long-term chronic addiction, mild or moderate mental illness, and substance use disorders and complex health profiles.

CCPWM?:

Ensure access to integrated, evidence-based substance use disorder and mental health services, including 24/7 crisis response and medication‑assisted treatment (MAT).

Meet stringent criteria regarding timeliness of access, quality reportingobb, staffing and coordination with social services, criminal justice, and education systems.

The individual in this position must be self‑motivated clés and able to work in a team environment, have excellent communication and writing skills, and be able to complete important deadlines. Must have previous experience working in a behavioral health setting related to serious mental illness, addiction and/or substance use disorders and understanding behavioral health policy.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities _prompt Microsoft Project, clarity, or other PM tool experience.
