Area Administrative Supervisor

Location: USA - VIRTUAL - US Kentucky

Time Type: Full Time

Position Summary: The Administration Supervisor will plan and direct daily HR, accounts payable/receivable, billing activities and manage a customer service team at the site. This role requires extensive travel across multiple sites in the United States and flexibility in scheduling. The supervisor will implement strategic HR initiatives including Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management and Compensation & Benefits.

Recruitment strategy execution, retention, legal compliance, payroll, communication, orientation, training, and related administrative functions are also responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business initiatives.
  • Serve as a change agent, developing transition plans, leading communication, and engagement activities.
  • Establish robust recruitment processes to attract and retain talent.
  • Administer employee & labor relations programs, compensation, performance, benefits, recognition, training, and workforce communications.
  • Facilitate and provide training and development, including orientation, to management and staff.
  • Coach and advise managers and employees to resolve problems and provide day‑to‑day support.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Effectively administer existing HR programs per policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide Employee Relations expertise, ensuring legal compliance and supporting local consultation with employee bodies.
  • Promote diversity initiatives within the assigned area or country.
  • Support effective communication and administration of deliverables.
  • Manage a customer service team.
  • Oversee site accounts payable/receivable.
  • Perform end‑of‑month accounting and billing.
Other Duties
  • Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Full personnel responsibility to lead, develop, and coach a customer service team.
Skills & Abilities Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and 5 years’ experience in HR required (or equivalent combination).
  • Previous experience with payroll processing and timekeeping preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.
Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
Certificates & Licenses
  • Recognized HR Professional Certification preferred
Language Skills
  • Local language required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • English (reading, writing, verbal)

  • Good mathematical skills

Physical Demands

Occasional handling/fingering, sitting; frequent bending; constant walking and standing; lifting 21–50 pounds, reaching above shoulder, reaching outward, squatting or kneeling.

Work Environment

Low to moderate noise levels; minimal exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals not present.
