Infrastructure Manager

Job Description:

• The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise infrastructure services.
• This role oversees infrastructure strategy, operations, security, modernization initiatives, and team leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT services aligned with business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of network and server operating systems.
• Experience managing cloud platforms, virtualization, and hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive solutions to completion.

• Infrastructure architecture and planning.
• Network engineering and server administration.
• Enterprise systems management and lifecycle modernization.
• Change management and operational process oversight.

• Lead the design and implementation of short‑term and long‑term infrastructure strategies.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure policies, procedures, standards, and training plans.
• Research and recommend infrastructure products, services, protocols, and standards.
• Oversee infrastructure security planning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage design, maintenance, and evaluation of LAN, WAN, internet, intranet, cloud, wireless, and security systems.
• Define and enforce hardware and software standards with stakeholders.
• Oversee and enforce infrastructure‑related change management processes.
• Ensure regular testing of infrastructure services and provide performance metrics and capacity planning reports.
• Develop and execute server, storage, and network modernization strategies.
• Manage infrastructure budgets, cost analysis, and financial planning support.
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure staff to ensure operational excellence.

• Project management experience.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience with infrastructure modernization initiatives.

• Infrastructure planning and lifecycle management.
• Cloud, virtualization, and hybrid environments.
• Advanced problem‑solving and issue assessment.
• Leadership, delegation, and team development.
• Process documentation and operational planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• High school diploma with 8+ years of directly related infrastructure experience may be considered.
