Legal Secretary

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Legal Secretary in Frankfort, KY. Must have exceptional organizational & time management skills, expertise in editing and reviewing legal documents, maintain the highest levels of ethical, professional behavior, proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs, and be self-motivated to work alone or in a team environment.

This is a 1st shift opportunity and pay will be $24.05 an hr.

An updated resume MUST be submitted showing prior Legal Secretary experience to be considered.

Applicants for this Legal Secretary position must have the following to be considered:

• Expertise in filing in state courts of all levels (including trial courts and appellate courts)
• Expertise in administrative tasks (including Microsoft Office Suite Programs and Outlook, creating/editing/revising documents of all types, and adept with technology or willing to learn technological tasks)
• Expertise in editing and reviewing legal documents (including a first pass before Legal review and/or final pass immediately before filing)
• Expertise in detail-oriented behavior (including times, dates, and deadlines)
• Expertise in organization and proactive in streamlining tasks (enhancing efficacy and efficiency of the legal department)
• Expertise in communicating with Legal staff, and outside individuals and entities (well-versed in multiple modes of communication including emails, phone calls, faxes, and team meetings)
• Expertise in maintaining the highest levels of ethical, professional behavior (including, but not limited to, confidentiality honesty, and collegiality)
• Expertise in filing in courts of all levels
• Expertise in state administrative actions (including familiarity with state government work and state agencies)

Pay Details: $24.05 per hour
