Job Description /ResponsibilitiesAt Buffalo Trace Distillery, we’re always seeking skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians. Even if there isn’t an immediate opening, we want to connect with you! This posting is part of our evergreen pipeline, a proactive approach to engaging top talent for upcoming roles.
Candidates from this pool will be reviewed and contacted first when a matching position becomes available.
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing industrial mechanical duties skillfully
- Maintaining and installing bottling and distillery equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps
- Supporting operations by responding to trouble calls, diagnosing issues promptly, and making accurate repairs
- Participating in continuous improvement efforts, including project work and machinery rebuilds
MUST
- Proven maintenance experience with skills for routine tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work second or third shift
- Successful completion of mechanical and electrical aptitude tests, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screening
- High initiative and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent safety and attendance records
- High School diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hydraulics experience
- Machine safety inspections
- Manufacturing environment experience
Machines and technologies used:
- Conveyor systems
- Bottling equipment like labelers, fillers, and case packers
- Packaging robots
- Pumps
- Industrial dryers
- Centrifuges
- Control and automatic valves
- Air compressors
Compensation: $31.61 per hour
Schedule:
2-2-3 shift pattern, 12-hour shifts, night shift from 6pm to 6am
