Job Description /ResponsibilitiesAt Buffalo Trace Distillery, we seek skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians. Even if no immediate openings exist, we invite you to join our evergreen pipeline—a proactive approach to connect with top talent for upcoming roles.
Candidates in this pool will be prioritized when relevant positions open.
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing industrial mechanical duties skillfully
- Maintaining and installing bottling and distillery equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps
- Responding to trouble calls, diagnosing issues, and making repairs promptly
- Participating in continuous improvement projects, machinery rebuilds, etc.
MUST
- Successful maintenance experience with skills for routine tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work second or third shift
- Ability to pass mechanical and electrical aptitude tests, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screening
- High initiative and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent safety and attendance records
- High School diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hydraulics experience
- Machine safety inspections
- Manufacturing environment experience
Machines and technologies used:
- Conveyor systems
- Bottling equipment such as labelers, fillers, and case packers
- Packaging robots
- Pumps
- Industrial dryers
- Centrifuges
- Control and automatic valves
- Air compressors
Compensation: $31.61 per hour
Schedule:
2-2-3 shift pattern, 12-hour night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am
