Medical Surgical Nurse – Frankfort Regional Medical Center

This full‑time, entry‑level position is located in Frankfort, KY. We invite applications from qualified Registered Nurses to join our team of dedicated professionals.

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with the department requirements and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, advocate for patients, and embody the hospital's values to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures to ensure full understanding.

• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
