Job TitleTravel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during night shift alongside a team that includes a Charge Nurse Coordinator, fellow RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Respond to trauma, cardiac, and stroke emergencies in accordance with department protocols
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Prior experience in a trauma-designated or stroke-certified emergency department
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
- Experience with rapid infusion and blood warming equipment
- Work in a well-staffed, high-acuity Emergency Department with a structured team model and access to advanced equipment
- Gain experience at a facility recognized for trauma, cardiac, and stroke care excellence
