Part-Time Kennel Technician

Frankfort Animal Clinic is seeking a part-time Kennel Assistant to care for our furry patients and guests. We are a busy, 4-doctor, full-service veterinary hospital practicing cutting-edge veterinary medicine in Frankfort, Kentucky. We offer boarding services and daycare to the pets in our community. We have cared for pets for over 50 years.

• Keep the kennel and facility clean and organized.
• Care for all the pets we see in boarding and daycare settings.
• Assist with daily operations and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

• Desire to help humans and animals; able to work with minimal supervision; enjoys keeping things clean and organized.
• Animal care experience preferred, but we are willing to train for this position; opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement within our practice.

• Dependable and punctual.
• Positive and have great communication and people skills.
• Comfortable around a variety of animals.
• Computer literate.
• A pro at multitasking.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
