That’s why all Commonwealth Credit Union Team Members are expected to live our Team 1 culture in all facets of their position. Our team is committed to ‘bettering lives through our passion to serve’ and this includes everyone - from our team members to the people in the communities we serve.

We do this best when we appreciate each other for our differences, foster connections, and ensure an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and be successful.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Telephony Manager to oversee and provide direction to network architects, engineers, administrators, security teams, and other professionals involved in network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in both technical and business skills to effectively manage and design complex data communication networks, such as LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VoIP, Edge, Firewall, virtual, and Cloud.

The Infrastructure & Telephony Manager assesses, analyzes, develops, and monitors network traffic while advising the Chief Information Officer on bandwidth, emerging security, and safety issues. The manager participates in decision-making processes to mitigate risk and maintain a disaster recovery mindset. The manager ensures accurate documentation of all network and access components, including drawings, descriptions, and equipment configurations, while ensuring timely and accurate responses to Project Requests and Help Desk calls.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the Network/Telephony team in implementing disaster recovery, data loss prevention, network patch management, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Proactively exploring emerging technical opportunities, carefully weighing risks against benefits to propel the Credit Union to the forefront of technology while ensuring security.
  • Maintaining vendor relationships with the Network/Telephony team to ensure vendors are maintaining and meeting expectations.
  • Leading and directing multiple projects in a manner that delivers expected outcomes within the projected timelines and budgets.
  • Setting a positive example by embracing a fail-forward approach to staff development and coaching.
  • Proactively keeping pace with emerging technologies, anticipating future trends, and strategically aligning network and telephony infrastructure with the organization's broader business strategy and objectives.
  • Effectively conveying objectives and goals with clarity and precision, ensuring all stakeholders easily understand them.
  • Enhancing expertise and skills related to the role or industry by actively pursuing development opportunities, including but not limited to, attending conferences, acquiring certifications, completing learning courses internally or through other relevant platforms, or engaging in both internal and external leadership programs.
