Position Summary

The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Kentucky Journeyman Plumbing License, have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in both plumbing construction and service, and be comfortable traveling between job sites and being on‑call as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, water heaters, drainage systems, and backflow prevention devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and Kentucky state plumbing codes.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and execute necessary repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete jobs on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Travel to various job sites as required, with the flexibility to work extended hours and participate in an on‑call rotation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in plumbing construction and service.
  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and power/hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the Lexington/Frankfort region and be available for on‑call assignments.
