Buffalo Trace Distillery is an American family-owned company based in Frankfort, Franklin County, Kentucky. The Distillery's rich tradition dates back to 1773 and includes such legends as E.H. Taylor, Jr., George T. Stagg, Albert
B. Blanton, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee.
Buffalo Trace Distillery is a fully operational Distillery producing bourbon, rye and vodka on site and is a National Historic Landmark as well as is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Distillery has won 17 distillery titles since 2000 from such notable publications as Whisky Magazine, Whisky Advocate Magazine and Wine Enthusiast Magazine . Job Description /Responsibilities
Buffalo Trace Distillery is seeking applicants for Controls Technician to join our team in Frankfort, KY, this is a night shift position, with a starting salary of $37.06 per hour. Night shift is 6pm-6am on a rotating 2,2,3 schedule.
Primary Responsibilities Include (however May Not Be Limited To)
- Skilled performance of all plant electrical duties including PLC & MCC installation and maintenance
- Ensure PLCs, robots, and any additional automation is functioning as expected
- Read electrical schematics
- Possess ability to install, trouble-shoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systems
- Ability to install variable speed drives and troubleshoot electronic control systems including electric eyes and relays
- Ability to program A.B. programmable logic controls.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, clean and maintain machinery, equipment, fixtures, piping and plumbing systems, etc.
