Staff Engineer, Systems Engineer

• Associate level engineering staff/manager or higher, supporting and leading R&D activities across product development, lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional team leadership.
• High technical competence delivering product requirements, design, analysis, verification, validation, and transfer meeting customer and business needs.
• Leadership of projects or teams in the US, Europe, and Asia with talent development.

• Lead or core team member representing R&D in a multifunctional team to release design control work supporting development, improvement, and commercialization of new products.
• Build, develop, own, and implement technical strategies on projects.
• Manage and coach the extended team, allocating work and managing stakeholders to align technical strategies, risks, and decisions.
• Serve as SME for product development and design change control in accordance with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
• Support regulatory submissions as technical lead, owning deliverables from Design Inputs to Design Transfer.
• Facilitate and own technical decisions and recommendations.

• B.S. degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Advanced Degree with 2–3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in product development with release to market or sustaining projects.
• Expertise with design controls (21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485) and risk management (ISO 14971).
• Experience in medical device regulations and submission processes.
• Excellent communication of technical and complex problems at all organization levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence others.
• Ability to evaluate, compare, and make trade‑off decisions and manage complex data.

• Exceptional team leadership skills, motivating, inspiring others.
• Foundational understanding in Design for Six Sigma, MBSE/SysML & Requirements Management, and statistical tools.
• Experience in design verification planning, testing, test method development, data analytics, plastics design, fluid mechanics, high volume design & manufacturing.
