Credit & Collections Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio, driving timely collections, reducing DSO, and monitoring customer credit risk. The ideal candidate comes from a manufacturing or retail environment

, and brings strong experience in collections and account reconciliations

• Manage and collect all receivables within the assigned portfolio to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.

• Conduct proactive collection efforts using phone, email, letters, and other communication methods.

• Review and analyze credit reports, financial statements, and related documents to evaluate creditworthiness.

• Perform bank and trade reference checks and recommend appropriate credit limits.

• Monitor customer credit lines and ensure annual updates on all active accounts.

• Maintain accurate customer correspondence and deliver exceptional service by resolving credit-related issues promptly.

• Record detailed and accurate collection notes in the system; maintain historical activity records.

• Collaborate with field representatives to resolve customer disputes and assist with special projects as needed.

• College degree preferred (Business or related field) or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 3 years of strong collections experience
  , managing a large portfolio of accounts.

• Strong account reconciliation skills required.

• Background in manufacturing or retail strongly preferred.

• Healthcare experience a plus; SAP experience preferred.

• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
