Senior Manager – Global Competitive & Market Intelligence (CMI), reporting to the VP, head of Global Competitive & Market Intelligence (CMI). This role is pivotal in enabling BD’s leadership to anticipate market shifts, understand competitive dynamics, and identify growth opportunities.

• Strategic BU Engagement:
  Partner with senior business stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical competitive and market intelligence needs.
• Problem Definition:
  Translate key business questions into analytical problems that can be answered with a combination of internal & external data sources.
• Data Analysis:
  Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, including advanced analytics and modeling, to identify patterns, trends, and foresight signals from large data sets.
• Insight Generation:
  Independently develop key hypotheses and second‑order insights into the drivers of market trends and competitive performance.
• Cross‑functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work with Corp. Strategy, Finance, BU strategy & leadership to integrate insights into strategic decision‑making.
• Storytelling & Communication:
  Craft clear, compelling storylines and deliver insights to BU and corporate leadership to influence strategic priorities.
• Project Leadership:
  Develop work plans and execute projects independently in collaboration with BU and corporate leadership teams.
• Process Excellence:
  Define and implement repeatable, streamlined processes and methodologies for BUs to execute competitive and market intelligence activities effectively.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong understanding of the business landscape, key data sources, and insight generation.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree in business, data science or related field, or MBA preferred.

• Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategy roles within healthcare.
• Familiarity with global healthcare trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Strong ability to work with big data environments, including data ingestion, transformation, and analysis using advanced tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization.

We prioritize on‑site collaboration and require a minimum of 4 days per week in the office to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while recognizing the importance of flexibility and work‑life balance. Remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements indicated in the call for applications.
