Responsibilities:

• The Site Supplier Quality Specialist is responsible for defining and executing supplier management activities required to approve and maintain approved status of site and local suppliers.
• Provide collaborative support to quality leadership and work across functions such as Quality Engineering, WW Supplier Quality Assurance, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, corporate functions, regulatory agencies, and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement and implementation of the Quality Management System while maintaining compliance to regulations, standards, and corporate requirements.
• Develop applicable Site/Unit procedures, work instructions, and update unit level procedures and policies.
• Serve as Supplier Quality associate for local and site-related suppliers (products and services).
• Identify suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional and/or WW teams to complete supplier selection process.
• Implement supplier approval strategy and manage qualification and approval progress.
• Update supplier information in Aravo.
• Maintain Quality Agreements with suppliers when needed.
• Provide ongoing Supplier Quality Assurance support to all existing suppliers.
• Collect and archive relevant supplier-related documentation.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct audits/assessments as needed.
• Manage supplier-initiated changes and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Support QA/QC lab with supplier activities related to product batch release and customer complaints.
• Lead or support problem‑solving and root cause analysis activities (CAPA, audits, nonconformances, customer complaints, supplier related complaints).
• Serve as subject matter expert for internal and external audits, supporting pre‑ and post‑audit activities.
• Track trends in quality data sources and report on metrics.
• Support site and global quality continuous improvement initiatives.
