Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site position located in Franklin, IN, for a CNC Applications Engineer. The role involves developing, testing, and improving CNC machining processes, programming CNC machines, setting up and troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring the highest standards of precision and efficiency are met. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams, optimizing machining strategies, and providing technical support to address production challenges effectively.
Qualifications- Proficiency in CNC programming, machine setups, and operation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and mechanical design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Familiarity with quality standards, including ISO 13485:2016 and ITAR compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration aptitude with cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant industry experience or certifications in CNC machining and programming are advantageous.
