Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Flex Security Officer for the Franklin, IN area. Payrate: $18.50/hr with weekly pay.

• Must have reliable transportation.
• One year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Exceptional report writing skills.
• Mentally analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Able to work independently.
• Read and understand written instruction and communicate information clearly.
• Must be willing to have no nail polish, false nails, or facial piercings while on duty.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. Flex Officers provide trained, competent support by working shifts that become available due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, enabling Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers.

• Be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; assignments are temporary.
• Schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) will vary based on operational need.
• Assigned or offered shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some shifts scheduled in advance; others may be called with short notice.
• Must communicate any unavoidable unavailability to supervisor.
• Expected to work at least 80% of short‑notice call‑in shifts; refusal of more than 20% can negatively impact employment status.
