Job Summary

The Gaming Revenue Auditor is responsible for daily audits of records for assigned gaming revenue generating departments to determine compliance with gaming regulations, as well as company and departmental policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Audit daily records of assigned gaming revenue generating departments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company/department policies and procedures.
  • Prepare manual and computer accounting records and reports.
  • Work with operating departments to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
  • Perform daily audits of cage, HHR, electronic games and count room areas.
  • Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process.
  • Aid in preparation of reports for Tax Department and VP of Accounting in a manner to ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulation and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.
  • Anticipate ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.
  • Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process to Accounting Controller.
  • Use Aristocrat Oasis 360 system and Sage Intacct systems, compare and analyze jackpot tickets, vouchers, discrepancies, variances against machines.
  • Responsibility to ensure all Title 31 audit regulations are enforced.
  • Participates in numerous special projects including Live Racing, Derby and special events and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Meets deadlines and maintains high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondences with demonstrated knowledge of audit functions and regulatory requirements.
  • Drives culture by consistently demonstrating leadership, a positive attitude, and BIG Service standards.
  • Works safely, including clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shifts and staff meetings.
  • Maintains professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the workday.
  • Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity.
  • Works independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2 Years of recent and related auditing or accounting experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Internal Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky Gaming/Racing license.

  • Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to repeat the same movements.
  • Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co-workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner.
