Commonwealth of Kentucky is hiring a Highway Technician Assistant I in Franklin, KY. The role involves operating highway maintenance equipment, loading and driving a dump truck with a snowplow, and performing flagging duties to manage traffic on projects.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and must obtain a Class B CDL within 12 months. Training in First Aid, Snow/Ice, Traffic Control/Flagger, and OSHA 10 is required. Work is outdoors with potential long hours and overtime.
