Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $180,000 – $190,000 annually
This role leads purchasing and supply chain operations to ensure consistent and timely availability of materials and services that support business objectives. The position provides strategic and day‑to‑day leadership to the purchasing team and works cross‑functionally to support supplier performance, cost initiatives, and new product introductions within a medical device manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the purchasing team while aligning with established operational principles. Manage procurement and supply chain activities to support production and business requirements. Oversee raw material inventory levels and supply reporting within SAP S/4
HANA, proactively identifying and resolving constraints without customer impact. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by ensuring material availability in accordance with project schedules. Lead supplier sourcing and selection efforts and participate in supplier consolidation initiatives in collaboration with commodity management. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, including pricing, delivery commitments, and performance expectations. Collaborate closely with Quality to support supplier quality system approvals and with Engineering to address technical requirements and supplier capabilities.
Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and at least one year of related experience supporting NPI programs within the medical device manufacturing industry. Strong experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
