Overview

HiFyve is hiring a 2nd Shift Blow Mold Technician in Franklin, MA. Pay: $29.00 – $33.00/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential.

Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Blow Mold Technician to support maintenance and production operations on the second shift. This role focuses on keeping blow-molding and packaging equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on blow molding equipment and plant utilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support repairs and installations
  • Assist with equipment setups, modifications, and new machine installations
  • Support production teams by training operators and troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders
  • Communicate equipment status and issues with supervisors and other departments
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
  • 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience required; blow molding experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems (PLCs, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, or fabrication skills a plus)
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
  • Basic computer skills for work order entry and maintenance tracking
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
