Position: Shift Supervisor
Job Type: Pool;
Non-Exempt
Shift Details: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am — As needed
Work Location: Crisis – Franklin County Crisis Care Center
Salary/Hourly Wage: $39.00 – $41.00 per hour
Specialties / Licenses or Certifications- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
- State designation as required per state regulations.
Summary of Job: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Team Leadership- Provides leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned shift.
- Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
- Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
- Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual’s support team such as family members, friends, case managers and other area programs.
- Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Ensures incident reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties assigned.

Job Requirements- Education/Licenses: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field;
Associate Licensure in good standing; independent licensure preferred; state designation as required. - Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
- Skills: Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans; basic computer skills; effective communication; excellent documentation; de‑escalation training (state defined).
- Driving Requirements: Must meet all requirements outlined in the Recovery Innovations driving policy. If not qualified, a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Miscellaneous Requirements: Travel based on business need; meet comprehensive credentialing process; must be 18 years or older; maintain confidentiality (HIPAA); second‑chance employer.
- Background & Testing: Must pass a seven‑year background check, substance abuse testing (if applicable), education verification, fingerprint clearance (as required), and motor vehicle report (if driving).
