Description:
Shift is days, 4x10 hours.
Position length is 13 weeks.
Call is required for a minimum of 1-2 days a week and at least one weekend a month.
The role includes operating in 8 OR suites.
Open heart experience is mandatory.
Flexibility to work in all other service lines is essential.
Certified Tech is preferred but not required.
The team may float between facilities.
Education requires a high school diploma or GED.Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology is required, or an Associate of Arts Degree in Surgical Technology, or 10 or more years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Candidates must have completed CPR certification.
Previous charge experience is required.
Charting system experience with Epic is necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable floating as needed without restrictions or special requests.
References are not required for this role.
Candidates with past license disciplinary action will not be accepted.
