FPI Inspector inspects in-process aerospace components for accuracy under black light. The ideal team member will be a self-starter with proven experience working as an Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing sector. This position is a full time on 1st shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive visual evaluation of surface defects of brazed, welded, and formed precision aerospace parts using fluorescent penetrant per applicable customer specifications.
- Clean and preparation of parts, followed by visual inspection under black light using fluorescent penetrant liquid.
- Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Aerospace Industry experience preferred
- Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
- Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc.
- Able to successfully pass vision screens
- Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
- Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30pm w ith overtime possible daily and Fridays
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
