The QA/QC Technician is responsible for the operation of the production workstation to produce high‑quality materials within deadlines and in compliance with safety regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform various tests on materials, including aggregates, asphalt, and concrete, using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Document and maintain accurate records of testing results, inspection findings, and quality control measures taken.
• Identify any quality issues and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices while conducting inspections and tests.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide support and guidance on quality‑related issues.
• Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, materials science) is preferred.
• Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in the construction or paving materials industry.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and testing procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment and software related to quality control.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Mix design experience and/or ODOT Level 3 Asphalt certification.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting materials (up to 50 pounds) and moving around job sites.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noise.
