Our client, a leading retail company committed to organizational growth and product quality, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Franklin, TN. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for maintaining cost control and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Up to $90,000 per year, based on experience and skills. The range provided by CFS is indicative; actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports for management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor standard cost systems.
• Review and update cost records, including labor, material, and overhead.
• Perform cost variance analysis and assist in budgeting.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate cost accounting in ERP systems.
• Conduct profitability analyses for products and projects.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of cost accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite).
