Director of Accounting – SaaS | Cool Springs

We are seeking a hands‑on Director of Accounting to lead accounting operations for a fast‑growing healthcare technology and SaaS company. This role is a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for revenue recognition, financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting the organization’s continued growth.

• Lead full‑cycle accounting: GL, revenue, billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes in accordance with GAAP.
• Own SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and related accounting policies; experience with ASC 842 a plus.
• Prepare financial statements, board materials, and management reporting.
• Partner with FP&A and cross‑functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a high‑performing accounting team.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a Director/Assistant Controller role.
• Deep understanding of SaaS revenue recognition and subscription billing models.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and highly collaborative.
• CPA preferred; strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment a plus.
