Sage Spring Wealth Partners is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our accounting team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing and processing the company’s invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position will also be responsible for processing credit card purchases, collecting receipts and posting transactions. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities.

• Oversee, receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all invoices are paid within terms and according to company policies.
• Prepare and process payment batches for vendors, ensuring accurate payment.
• Maintain organized files of vendor records, invoices, and related documents.
• Enter any quarterly expense accruals as necessary.
• Prepare tax related documents such as 1099s.
• Request credit card receipts for proper accounting of purchases.
• Enter all credit card purchase into the accounting system.
• Maintain revenue receipts and post entries into the accounting system.
• Reconcile receipts to bank statements.
• Financial Advisor Expense Reporting/Expensify maintenance. Review monthly expense reports for compliance with tax regulations, confirm accuracy of category coding, and verify backup documentation.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• College degree or 2-5 years of related experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Strong work ethic and a quick learner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
• Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others.
• Able to work on-site in Franklin, TN
  .
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct is helpful but not required.

• Ability to work in a traditional professional office setting or remote equivalent
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Advanced computer skills and ability to effectively operate computer equipment, software systems and databases
• Work schedule may vary and is determined by project schedules
• Ability to efficiently operate all job‑related office equipment
• Ability to communicate via telephone, computer and work in virtual teams
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
• Ability to travel using personal vehicle to other meeting locations as needed
• The responsibilities may require occasional travel which may include overnight stays
