Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead core accounting operations for our logistics organization in Franklin, Tennessee. This role will oversee the accuracy of financial records, guide the month-end close cycle, and support audit readiness through strong controls and detailed analysis. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries, along with the ability to keep reporting processes organized and dependable.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the monthly close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are recorded accurately.
• Maintain oversight of the general ledger by reviewing account activity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting clean financial reporting.
• Prepare and approve journal entries with appropriate documentation and alignment to accounting standards.
• Lead account reconciliation activities, investigating variances and correcting issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate financial statement audit support by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and validating supporting records.
• Monitor accounting controls and recommend process improvements that strengthen accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure reporting reflects current business activity.
