We are currently looking for a Product Planning Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN.
The Product Planning Truck & SUVs team is responsible for turning future body‑on‑frame vehicle concepts into reality while ensuring Nissan remains competitive and continues to meet the evolving mobility needs of our customers.
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in market analysis, competitive benchmarking, product evaluation, and strategic planning that helps shape the future of Nissan's truck and SUV portfolio.
A Day in the Life:- Analyze consumer, market, and competitive data to identify trends and opportunities that support future product decisions.
- Produce reports, presentations, analyses, and exhibits to support strategic planning activities.
- Assist the Market Research team with product research clinics and customer studies.
- Conduct product evaluations and participate in competitive benchmarking activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support ongoing product planning initiatives and special projects.
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
- Experience creating clear, compelling, and data‑driven presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
- Ability to develop well‑structured recommendations and tell a compelling story using data and insights.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with an interest in automotive products and market trends.
- Experience working in cross‑functional and cross‑cultural environments, or a willingness to do so.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, communication, and collaboration skills.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
