Huskey Building Supply is a family-owned, culture-driven company built on lean thinking, continuous improvement, and a team of process-minded professionals. We are growing and seeking an on-site Commercial Lumber Estimator to support our expanding commercial portfolio. This role is ideal for an estimator with proven experience in lumber takeoffs who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
PositionCommercial Construction Lumber Estimator (Full-Time, On-Site)
$50,000-$75,000 Annually

- Complete accurate lumber and EWP takeoffs for commercial projects
- Review architectural and structural plans to develop detailed material lists
- Partner with sales, purchasing, and operations to support profitable bids
- Identify value-engineering opportunities and material efficiencies
- Manage multiple estimates with strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in lumber estimating, commercial construction, or framing/material takeoffs
- Strong ability to read architectural and structural drawings
- Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, MiTek, or similar)
- Above-entry-level experience preferred; all levels considered
