Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Steel Estimator. The Steel Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and identifying materials, labor, and resources required for steel construction projects. The role involves reviewing project plans and specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the project team in decision-making and cost management. Attention to detail, accuracy in calculations, and the ability to meet deadlines will be critical to this role's success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in steel estimating, construction cost analysis, and project material evaluation
• Strong understanding of project specifications, blueprints, and construction technical drawings
• Experience in budgeting, bid preparation, and subcontractor coordination
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Proficient in relevant construction and estimation software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote role
• Experience or knowledge in the construction or steel industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
